Cyclesure.ie was founded in November 2009 by a couple of cycling fanatics - Shane Hamm and Brendan Mulhall.
It didn’t hurt that we were also fanatical about insurance….no honestly, it’s true!!
With over 30 years cumulative experience in the insurance and financial industry and quite a few years experience as club and leisure cyclists we have the know-how to provide comprehensive, dedicated and appropriate cover to the Irish cyclist.
We have developed the product in close collaboration with the Butterworth Spengler Insurance Group in the UK who have over 25 years experience in offering cycling insurance. They work with established cycling organisations in the UK such as CTC, Sustrans, the London Cycling Campaign and the British Triathlon Federation.
Butterworth Spengler provide the cover that is underwritten by Hiscox Insurance Company Ltd, General Insurer of the year 2009 (British Insurance Awards).
We are a dynamic team and have perfect cover for every cyclist.
